Miles Cohen

Miles Cohen

Managing Partner

Managing Partner and co-founder of Green Ash Partners in June 2009. Miles was previously a portfolio manager and senior capital markets adviser in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs in London. In this role, he was responsible for managing global credit and multi-asset class mandates for clients in Europe, Middle East and Africa. Before that, Miles worked at Merrill Lynch for eight years in debt capital markets where he established a fixed income, currency and commodity team. While at Goldman, Miles worked closely with Nick Freeman and Edward Vincent before leaving to set up Green Ash Partners. Miles is the Co-CIO at Green Ash Partners, a portfolio manager and member of the Investment Committee.  Miles is also responsible for Compliance and he has a BA Hons degree in Industrial Economics from Nottingham University.

Nick Freeman

Nick Freeman

Managing Partner

Managing Partner and Co-founder of Green Ash Partners in June 2009. Nick was previously a portfolio manager and senior capital markets adviser in the Investment Management Division at Goldman Sachs in London. He spent ten years with a focus on liquid capital markets and was responsible for running bespoke credit, equity and foreign exchange portfolios for clients. While at Goldman, Nick worked closely with Miles Cohen and Edward Vincent before leaving to set up Green Ash Partners. Nick is the Co-CIO at Green Ash Partners, a portfolio manager and member of the Investment Committee. Nick was educated at University College London where he received a BSc Hons degree in Information Management.

James Sanders

James Sanders

Partner

James joined Green Ash Partners in early 2013. Before that, he worked at Morgan Stanley for three years providing analytics and investment advice to fund managers and large family offices in Europe and the Middle East. In this role, James had experience in all major asset classes, including both liquid securities and alternative investments. Prior to Morgan Stanley, James was at Alecto Financial on the Institutional Sales side. In his current role James is a member of the Investment Committee, manages both the equity and credit research function and contributes to portfolio management for credit and multi asset mandates.  James has a BA Hons degree in Philosophy from University College London.

 

Edward Vincent

Edward Vincent

Partner

Edward joined Green Ash Partners in 2010. Before that, he was a portfolio manager at Goldman Sachs for ten years, in the Investment Management Division. In this role, he and his team were responsible for the asset allocation and portfolio management of over $3bn of discretionary assets as well as a large pool of diverse advisory assets in both securities and derivatives. While at Goldman, Edward worked closely with Nick Freeman and Miles Cohen.  In his current role, Edward is a portfolio manager, group risk captain and member of the Investment Committee. Edward has a BA Hons degree in Politics from the University of Newcastle‐upon‐Tyne.

Monica Kelleher

Monica Kelleher

Senior Advisor. Monica joined Green Ash Partners in 2012 from Morgan Stanley where she headed a team working with European and Middle East trusts, foundations and family offices on advisory and discretionary mandates. The client portfolios were invested in both liquid capital market and alternative investments. Monica spent twelve years at Morgan Stanley, joining the Firm’s investment banking division after working in investment banking at Lehman Brothers and NM Rothschild. Monica holds a BA Hons degree in Law from the University of Cambridge.

Patrick Durcan

Patrick Durcan

Credit Analyst - Patrick joined Green Ash Partners in 2018. Before that, he was a Corporate Credit Analyst at Fitch Ratings in London for five years, providing analysis for the completion of credit ratings and industry research for the group. In his role, Patrick’s coverage allowed him to gain experience analysing both investment grade and high yield issuers, predominantly in the retail and consumer sectors. In his current role, Patrick is an investment analyst, focusing on global credit markets and contributing to the firm’s bottom-up investment process. Patrick was educated at University College Dublin where he obtained a Bachelor of Commerce as well as an MSc in Finance from UCD’s Smurfit Graduate Business School. He has passed Level II of the CFA program.
